ACC their refs and Duke Basketball

I understand that Duke is the best team in the conference, however when you play Duke you might as well not show up. The BC no call, the game today where the ball clearly goes off of Williams. It's getting ridiculous. Today FSU had more points in the paint than Duke. Common logic would lead us to believe that FSU would have more free throws correct? Nope, 42-11 in favor of the Dukies. This coming off a large FT disparity at BC. If the games close forget it, Duke will win in the ACC. The refs in the ACC listen to K's every word, in the end I think this hurts the Dukies. Notice how when they go out of conference the calls dont go their way as much, which is why they have folded in the NCAA's here recently. It's killing other ACC teams though, could you imagine what a win at Duke would give a young FSU team and their chances to go dancing? What a shame.

I noticed the same thing man, but I didnt post anything. 2 ACC games in a row with horrible officiating, going Dukes way of couurse.

Its out of control.....DD made the best points....i was trying to look on the internet for free throws for each team but i figured it was something like that

it goes back to the love affair with coach K!!! plain and simple....Duke is the ACC bell-cow but it seems like it should be UNC since they won a championship

I noticed the same thing when i saw the highlights. Its looking like some of the refs from them lpd are there.

are you saying that the reason duke has only lost 1 game is because of the refs??

I will go ahead and admit that i'm a duke fan. I agree with what you all saying as well. They do get most of the calls in their favor during the span of a game. However in today's game against FSU during the 2nd half there were only 2 officials to ref the game. The other one got injured when he bumped knees with a FSU player. It is extremely difficult for 2 referees to ref a basketball game and i would imagine it was really tough to referee a Duke game by themselves considering there defensive intensity. But once again they do get most of the calls but hey if you are a Duke fan you can't complain.

Ok....you have to be an X-Files fan to know what I'm talking about here. There was an episode, I fail to remember which, where the Cigarette Smoking man was in charge of a council that apparently ran the planet. His advisors were bringing him updates on various issues around the world when one says "Oh, Buffalo's in the Super Bowl....." He replies "As long as I'm head of this council, I will not see Buffalo win a Super Bowl...make it happen." Kinda makes me think he's a Duke fan, as well.
